Pocitelj is about twenty or twenty-five kilometres south of Mostar, and is a popular place for people wanting peace and relaxation from the stress of the city.
It's an extraordinarily beautiful town on a hill, with ancient stone houses, winding alley-ways, and an ancient mosque (restored, but unostentatiously) near the top, with a shady tree next to it.

This little town is protected and restorated as original. I really fascinated about a mosque and panorama of castle. You can find original tea-house and some suvenirs to buy.It is best place to take photographs in Bosnia.

We ran across this town without knowing anything about it on a road trip through Bosnia. Počitelj is an incredibly beautiful little old town perched on the side of the Neretva river.
