This large and beautiful avenue is home of a bunch of restaurants. Some great hotels are located nearby. The neighborwood is filled of great houses and old trees.
It may not be a special place for someone looking for adventure, but I do like the way this quarter became. It is very corporative but there are really nice places to eat, lots of green, a theatre and very good infrastructure for fun.
We spent two weeks with almost daily trips down Isadora Goyenechea. There are several Starbucks and other coffee shops along the road with great little sitting areas outside. Here you'll find a lot of restaurants, from Basta Pasta at the bottom (very good), Tavelli (cheap and good salads etc) to Tepanyaki and Peruvian restaurants and not least Tiramisú where you'll be lucky to find a table if you have not made a reservation.
This is a safe neighbourhood to visit and spend a nice evening in Santiago. You can find many restaurants of different types of food in here.
