You are taken on a tour of the cave, which is quite long. It's a bit cool and wet down there, so bring a jacket. They gave some good explanations about how they were formed, as well as some general info on the Volcano and such. There are some neat formations in there. If you don't speak Spanish, make sure... Interesting and fun, not cheap but beautiful. Make sure you have enough time to take a hike through the nearby forest.

It's no worth the 15000 pesos... We went there when it was raining. The cave is good, but it shouldn't be that expensive !!! The explanations were a bit poor...It's not really easy to go there with very young children!

After a difficult road of volcanic ash, I got to the park. It's a very different landscape with a cool, albeit short, descent into the caves. Make sure you pack a raincoat, because it drips all over inside the cave. Really cool!

The volcanic cave is well explained by local guides and the caves provide a sound speological experience, worth for children and adults (especially when all lights are turned out, to experience the absolute darkness). The road to the caves, around half an hour, is in extreme poor conditions.

The drive to the caves is not paved. But kind of fun. You pay a fee at the entrance. I do not remember the price, too many peso conversions to remember. It was me, my husband, a 1 yr old and a 12 yr old. The caferteria has a beautiful view of the lakes. Although it was newly built so... More

the road to get to the caves is an adventure. Don't try without a 4x4. Once you are up there, you are ready to pay any price to make the trip useful. But around EUR 20 p.P. is quite a lot for this cave visit. The tour with a lot of explanation on volcanoes etc. unfortunately was in Spanish only.... More
