The Orchid Garden ($5 entry) was sensational. We were able to get to the Gardens via the hop on-hop off bus. A lovely break from all the people

A great place to visit to see what the Mother Nature is all about! Superbly kept and displayed flora in the heart of the city.
We went here because of the high rating it has on tripadvisor. Although it seemed a place the locals enjoyed for walking dogs and going for a run in with good paths and a lot of greenery, if you only have a limited time in Singapore I wouldn't recommend this as there wasn't much to see for the amount of...

A lovely place for a walk, to sit and relax or pick up one of the attractions that take place. I nice green haven in the middle of the city. It's within walking distance from Orchard St and for those who like cabs and buses, there are excellent connections available.
I went by myself to the gardens as my husband was working. I took a cab and the driver was so helpful on how to get back to hotel ect. The minute you enter the grounds you feel at peace the flowers, the sculptures, the music dome are all just beautiful, I spent 3 hours plus just wondering the trails and...

Great place to go alone or with family, must see this to love it. Very Singaporean with the clean and organized facility.
Really nice botanical gardens, we only spent a few hours there which was not enough by far! Only got to see probably a third of the gardens.
The highlight was the orchid garden, however you do have to pay a small amount to go in (maybe $5 or something like that) the orchids were really beautiful so it was worth...

It was a nice green garden walk in a country with so many urban areas, but the orchid garden was a bit of a let down.
Like so many botanic gardens in the world, this one will not disappoint. you can sit by the lake and watch the white swans swim by or enjoy a cool drink at the cafe. The gardens are free but there is a small fee to enter the Orchid Garden but very wothwhile.
It is small garden compare with Indonesia Botanical Garden, but they have great landscape which is neat & clean. I amaze by the landscaping arrangement. The food court also have good food with good price too. A great place to enjoy your day with your spouse or pets :)
