Every night is exciting as the lights backdrop the buildings and accentuate the harbor. During the day you have dramatic view of the harbor, mountains and skyscrapers. It is truly a sight to see and enjoy.
Since the Hong Kong city is full of tall buildings spread all around, the sky line view is spellbound. Grand views can be had from near the Avenue of stars. Try the night views across the waters, and you shall be surprised. During our four days stay at Hong Kong we went there on all the nights, and felt like...

amazing experience, cheap and cozy. probably the most simple way to see the big city, it is a must if you are in hong kong
Skyline is comparable to that of New York and Boston. The IFC tower is truly the highlight, with only partially visible due to cloud cover around the top floors. A very beautiful sight
I saw many skycrapers in Singapore or Jakarta. But when arrive in HK, its something different, esp when you saw from both promenade either in HK island or Kwoloon. I can definetely spend hours to just sitting by harbor, or the promenade and enjoy the lights from the buildings and took some pics. Its just wonderful experiences, esp as now...

By far one of the most outstanding, modern and colorful skylines with the 'junks' sailing by on Victoria Harbor. A bit much of commercial advertising but hey, this is Asia!
Must has been written about the beauty of HK skyline. My favourite season is during Christmas period. Watching from Kowloon is just a relax pass time, very beautiful and romantic. Year End is the best time to enjoy the Skyline.
Take the old trolley to the East of Central area. Jog through the Ladies Market. Stroll through Kowloon.
