Beautiful carvings depicting daily life in ancient Egypt. It was refurbished, so now it is even better. Less visitors than usual, so a must for interested people.
We went here in 2/2004 and I still remember it as one of my favorites! We went towards the end of the day, after touring the rest of Saqqara/Djoser so we had the place entirely to ourselves. ... in March 2012. We have visited it in 2001, it was open that time. This tomb is one of the most beautiful tombs in the Saqqara area. Don't be sad, there are many other tombs and mastabas open, that are as nice as this one.
