Beautiful shops and many cafes filled with youth from all over the world. Near the Wall and a nice place to meet friends and enjoy the youthfull atmosphere.
Finally seeing the Western Wall was quite an experience for me. Obviously, it has a lot more meaning for Jewish people, and I though I am not religious, it was very moving.
I like the old shopping street called Cardo. The old arches are very impressive and the entire atmosphere reminds to old Jerusalem.
Enjoyed seeing ancient Roman street as well as broad wall built by Hezekiah to defend against Assyraians.
Actually, Cardo (Roman street) is only one of the Quarter's attractions and there is much more to see. The Cardo itself consists of two parts - outer, with several columns and the rest under the current street's level, continuing to the sort of tunnel with numerous interesting shops and durther exiting to Christian Quarter's souks.

The stores for shopping are safer than the Arab quarter. You have to visit to see how this part of Old Jerusalem fit together with all the other parts and...

Amazing old buildings, yet most are rebuilt after attacks. There are a lot of little shops everywhere, some delicious fallafel and boureka stands or tiny restaurants. Walk around and you'll see the excavation of the Cardo. This is the only quarter that has excavations so ancient, ironically because this is the only quarter that is under attack.
