We visited the Holocaust Museum in Washington, DC a few years ago. It was a very emotional experience. Yad Vashem was also a very emotional experience, but was so crowded that it was difficult to see everything I would have liked to have seen. Although it would seem that it was well organized since it was arranged chronologically, there are... More

Really opens your eyes to the horrors that man does to man. It was a time of reflection and thought. Really well put together will remain with me for the rest of my life.

Easy to get to. Just at the end of light railway station. Very well organised. It's very moving. The only downside was there was so much of it and it was tiring. You need to pace yourself

This is a very special place. It is a must to see for all nationalities. A look back to the tragic history of the Jewish people, as well as other peoples. It is a reminder of what happens when people do not stand up for their rights. Then one comes to the present and future and shows how Israel came... More

Yad Vashem exceeded our expectations. The exhibits are incredible and informative. Be prepared to be shocked and a bit emotional as you move through the museum. They do an excellent job of educating people and providing information on all sorts of things that are often not discussed with regard to the Holocaust. I think every visit to Jerusalem must include... More

All of the human beings should have the opportunity to visit Yad Vashem for one day. Simply as that. The whole world must know all of the horrors that the Nazis have made to jewish people in order to see what really happened in that era. All the reproduction and information brought by the museum is accurate, without any exaggeration... More

An unbelievably moving experience, with incredible artifacts and testimonials. Particularly important in light of the fools who deny it ever happened.

So touching to hear what the holocaust victims had to endure. Educational in the sense that the world should know what happened first hand, and make sure it never happens again

Visiting Yad Vashem in a very moving experience - and you need time to make your way though the various rooms. We had audio guides and spent a long time initially listening, reading and looking at the exhibits. There is so much to to see - so many stories captured and events portrayed. It is an emotional journey as you... More
