Great market for all types of goods , including cheapclothes and hand bags , also great silver items , we spent a couple of hours there and got some great bargains .
Definitely worth a visit. There are a variety of products sold at this market. Items range from clothes to electronics, shoes, a-grade fake designer bags and watches. Anything you need, you should be able to find here! Sellers are negotiable on prices, so for most items it is reasonably priced. Best place to shop in Phnom Penh! I have been... More
The building is quite majestic, and inside even more so in the right light, yet this to me is just another market selling the same wears as most in Phnom Penh. The vendors are less desperate I think than other markets as they probably get more foot traffic yet there really is nothing special here. If you want t shirts,... More
You can spend half a day here easily and still get lost. Sold mainly local goods which would be useful for home ware crafts, and less of the typical touristy goods. At the center is a large area where jewelry and accessories of all sorts are sold - definitely worth checking out!

I heard that these are some of the most expensive markets in the city but i needed a few new shirts and some shoes and paid bottom... More
The Central Market or popularly known as the Psar Thom Thmey to the locals is another major landmark in Phnom Penh City. It has the shape of a cross and a big dome at the center. MUST MUST MUST GO and please BARGAIN BARGAIN BARGAIN, because you will get a steal of a deal for sure... there are hordes of purses, handbags, jewellery watches and many other things including electronic stuff available here. It shuts at sundown, 6 pm.. best time to go is in the morning... CHEERS TO YOUR SHOPPING.
It is a recently restored building and it is nice to go there in the afternoon, when the sun goes through the small windows in the ceiling.
The market is big and has a very large variety of clothes, kitchenware, jewelry and more. Maybe not as cheap and diverse as Russian market but a lot cooler temperature to shop in.
