This place is a must visit while you go to Phnom Penh. They provide audio guide in a lot of language that contain of information including some background, history and personal accounts of survivors. The audio is very helpful. It is very sad place but its good to go and see what horrible things the Khmer Rouge did. There are... More

Be prepared for a very emotional afternoon. This place has been well preserved and set up to show foreigners and teach them about the genocide. Don't miss this as it is something all people should witness.

A sad contrast to the Bustling Phnom Penh of today. I went here first and the S21 secondly, but it would be better to S21 first and then here, because then you realise the horrors that the people suffered before they finally were murdered here in their final resting place.

Quite a moving experience and cannot believe what occurred in this area- a must see on the tourist map. A very sobering experience.

Very informative tour. Can do self guided but not for the faint hearted. Half an hour from the city.

The killing fields in Cheong Ek are the most famous, but just one of thousands. Located approximately 30 min (15km) from Phnom Penh, it documents the genocide and atrocities of the Pol Pot regime. It is a vital reminder of the worst of humanity. Only through remembrance and education of past wrongs can we prevent this in the future. The... More

As many have already said, one can't visit Phnom Pehn without visiting this memorial. We got conditioned taxi from hotel (don't forget to discuss price in advance, they always ask price*3 just to check if you are ready to pay that) for the whole day for quite reasonable price to get everywhere including Killing Fields. You will have an audio... More

Well done. Language guides available in a lot of languages. It's a very moving experience and highly recommended. It takes about 30 - 45 min from the city centre to get there by tuk tuk.

A MUST EXPERIENCE! It won't be the best day of your stay in the Kingdom but it may be the most moving. Remember the past, Dream of the Future, Live in the Moment
