this place has plenty of great ambiance, Reallly good bands, plenty of choice for drinks and a lot of atmosphere. Its beautiful sitting up here with a Saigon Beer in hand watching the world pass by below on 1000 motorbikes.

I was there in February with my boyfriend and we were told by a friend that we must go to the rooftop bar of the Rex Hotel. It was a nice place to have a drink and a very relaxed atmosphere in the middle of a bustling city.

Iconic hotel with a large rooftop terrace overlooking the streets below--a great place for a relaxing early evening drink. Spent about a month in HCMC and this was one of our favorite spots. Located about 6 floors up, the restaurant/bar is high enough so you feel a bit removed from the bustling city yet allows you to still hear the noises and most importantly, experience some of the cities best views.
