Two excellent, enthusiastic students with a good command of English showed us their city. We learned more about Vietnameses culture both historically and the new modern culture of Vietnam from these students in three hours than we could have from reading a book. They explained the transitions of old customs into the new modern culture of todays "progress hungry" Hanoi.... More

Our tour was fantastic with one pro and one "newbie" both named Tung. You can read in the reviews all the wonderful things about HanoiKids and we agree with everyone. Just be careful though, as there is a website that has ripped off HanoiKids' website and photos, but whose agenda is to take tourists to souvenir places or whatnot. We... More

Rather than asking my guide to take me around the usual tourist hangouts, I asked him (Frankie) to take me off the beaten track. This is an excellent opportunity to safely get a view of day-to-day life in Hanoi and I would urge you to have a go. So, after a little bit of thought, Frankie took me to his... More

Read about this organization on TripAdvisor and signed for it. We requested for a full day tour and made a few request like visiting some places of (food) interest to our guide,Linh and she glady brought us around. We visited quite a few places of interests and our guide explained to us in details. After hearing that we are into... More

We (2 adults and 2 children -9 and 11) had a fantastic day touring Hanoi with two of the marvellous representatives from Hanoi Kids. This is a fantastic organisation which accepts no money (including tips) for their service (but you can give your guide/s a gift if you like - no obligation). What they get out of it is to... More

We used the authentic Hanoi Kids last December and they were fantastic. We really enjoyed our time with them. They took us to the attractions we wanted to see and also off the beaten track and to a great restaurant. It has come to our attention that a group is pretending to be Hanoi Kids, booking tours and not turning... More

We had such a wonderful experience with www.hanoikids.org (do not go to wrong imposter website!). Two very intelligent, polite 20 somethings appeared at our hotel at the designated time willing to take us wherever we wanted to go. We chose two historic sights and the tour guides were very thorough and knowledgeable. They shared many details that we would not have... More

Thanks to Bach and Ling, two of the Hanoikids volunteers, we got introduced to Hanoi and Vietnam's culture in the most authentic manner. Hanoikids is a group of young people/students with a love for their city Hanoi without being influenced by either money or politics. According to your interest, they will show you whatever you are interested in. official website:... More
