The main temple at the Sanctuary of Truth is really impressive. It's a modern development, so don't think you are experience ancient Thai culture. The all-wooden temple is beautiful and a calm spot in a lovely location. Seeing the carvers working on completing/repairing the temple is interesting. There is no pressure from hawkers or tour guides and you can explore...

The "Sanctuary of Truth" is a truly remarkable achievement of Buddhist culture. No cathedral in Australia or the UK can match the inspiration that went into this temple. Not only is it simply beautiful, but it really is a sanctuary and a retreat from the cares of the world. Thailand (like all of Asia) is very hectic and bustling, so...

Must see amazing timber structure, great to see from the look out, however you can go right up to the temple
Please understand that I did enjoy my visit, but would never return. I took guests there two years ago. The carvings are exquisite, but the fact that they make a point of announcing that the place will never be finished is frustrating. As it is not a "place of any type of worship" the sense this old atheist has is...

This is a truly awesome experience, do not miss this wonderful wooden construction. The guides are brilliant, we had a young guy called KO who took us. You can feed the goats and the show is really first class. Enjoy.
PEace... History personified.. worth a watch.. be it for anyone, friends, family or couples.. Many points worth clicking. If u r a bunch of photo maniac's u will find it hard to leave the place unless someone force you to... COnstruction still going on, maybe I will visit the same in my nexty trip to experience the additions..
