We went for the day, our guide was a woman who obviously loved the elephants very much. We got a lot of contact with these magnificent creatures, learned much about them and had a delicious vegetarian lunch.

I loved that the needs of the elephants were put ahead of tourism. The well being of the elephants comes first. The interactions that visitors have are meaningful and useful. I will forever remember getting to feed and bathe the elephants.
