Rode an elephant! How cool was that?!? The trip took us through the Thai hillsides and across a scenic stream. Really great! More

My partner and I visited the park for the one day visit. You can also sign up and do longer volunteer stays. During the day visit, you are picked up from your hotel about 8am in a clean air conditioned mini-van. The trip is lovely through the mountains and really doesn't feel too long. On the way you also view... More

I only spent one day here, and I would love to do more. The interactions with the elephants was amazing and so humane. I would not choose another elephant park unless they treated their elephants the way this park does. This is truly an elephant haven! It's a great experience for everyone, young and old! Look into the eyes of... More

We went for the day, our guide was a woman who obviously loved the elephants very much. We got a lot of contact with these magnificent creatures, learned much about them and had a delicious vegetarian lunch. More

Overheard some people talking about this place on the train journey from Bangkok. Thank goodness for earwigging! Lek, the lady who started this place rescues mistreated elephants. Elephants in Thailand are trained barbarically to be submissive for either working on the land or most commonly tourist trekking or street begging. You won't believe how they 'train' them. Lek has rescued... More

I loved that the needs of the elephants were put ahead of tourism. The well being of the elephants comes first. The interactions that visitors have are meaningful and useful. I will forever remember getting to feed and bathe the elephants. More

Just half an hour drive from the lively Chiang Mai you arrive in paradise. The location is beautiful for both men and animal. I visited for a full day with my brother to support the foundation and see our 'adoptive child' Hope. It turned out to be one of the highlights of our trip through Thailand. Meeting the elephants, observing... More
