It is a great way to get out of the city for a day and learn all about the organic ingredients that we proudly grow ourselves at the farm. You will cook delicious healthy meals from scratch at individual cooking stations. Our cooking instructors are all passionate about food and love to share their knowledge with you. We also offer evening classes in the old city of Chiang Mai for those who are limited in time. During these classes we use organic produce from our farm. « less

We booked the tour through a local tour operator, who couldn't recommend the company enough!! We were picked up from our hotel promptly by the owner of the company and whisked off to a nearby market to collect our ingredients for the day. On arrival at the farm we were given a tour around all of the different produce they... More

There is seemingly an endless choice of cooking course in Chiang Mai but if you choose Thai farm you wont be disappointed. It is relatively cheap at 1000 baht and we had a full day 8-4. First you are taken to a market where you have the chance to look around and learn more about the ingredients you will use... More

What a wonderful way to spend a day. The full day cooking class was very professionally arranged and was fun and enjoyable. Teachers Durian and Sie were excellent, and there was a real sense of achievement from cooking your chosen dishes and enjoying them afterwards. Classmates are a mix of nationalities with as many males as females, and hearing their... More

The last time that I was in Chiang Mai, I did a cooking class in town. It was really fun, but I wanted to try something different. Thai Farm picked us up at our hotel and took us to the outdoor market. The market experience was incredible. We loved the smells, sights and tour of the relevant foods that we'd... More

We have done cooking classes in several Asian countries and this was one of the best classes! Punctual, pick up on time. The instructor, she was really well informed and spoke good English. She was studying English at university and did this job for already two years. The location was perfect, all spices were grown on the farm and literally... More

For my last full day in Chiang Mai, I decided I would try a day-long cooking course. After looking through multiple brochures, I chose the Thai Farm Cooking School. They responded quickly to my e-mail inquiry about availability (on a Sunday) and I booked into a course two days later. They pick you up at your hotel or guest house... More

Sawat and Natallie's Thai Farm Cooking School were amazing! I loved their philosophy of organic farming and cooking healthy food. The fact that it was Thai healthy food only made it that much better! I am not a great cook, but thanks to Sawat's excellent instruction, I now make the best Tom Yam soup in the world :-), as well... More

Excellent day trip to a small Chiang Mai farm. Li, our guide/teacher, was excellent. She was sassy, had a great sense of humor and extremely helpful. Great way to spend the day and learn some valuable recipes and skills to apply to your next home made Thai meal. The meals came out excellent, full of the Thai flavor we came... More

Really enjoyed our day at the farm. Started off with a hotel pickup, followed by a tour of the market and then cooking at the farm. Made around 6 dishes, and our extremely enthusiastic teacher was very patient and thorough. Learned a lot and enjoyed the day. More

I am quite a keen cook, whereas my partner isn't. I really wanted to do a Thai cooking class. We are traveling with friends, and one of our friends is also a keen cook. He researched the options and recommended this one. I am very happy with his selection. We were picked up on time at our hotel in a... More
