The price was so low compared with the south of Thailand, yet the massage therapist was totally amazing! Really understood my body and works out those creaks and my jetlag! I like strong massage and he asked me strong or medium. usually you never get asked! REally fab. Went back for more! More

Fah Lanna is wonderful, tranquil with trained staff but always go for the traditional thai massage here and in general in Thailand. It's always better. The aromatherapy, oil and other kinds of fancy stuff cost more and are not as good. More

I have not tried the original massage shop at the very end of Loy Kroh Rd heading east, but have been to the spa in the old town twice. It is definitely priced at the luxury end of the spectrum for Chiang Mai, but delivers a very relaxing environment and competent, friendly staff. Worth a splurge. More

I've just had a brilliant massage at the Fah Lanna Massage shop on Loy Kroh Road near the Night Bazaar (I know there are two venues so I thought I should be specific). I go for massages regularly back home in England and this is just as good if not better than the ones I get with someone who knows... More

Very closely located to our hotel, I really wanted an authentic Thai Massage and whilst they are everywhere my husband and I selected this as it was a trip advisor recommendation. It is a fairly small place but absolutely lovely and the massage was fantastic, 1 hour for £4, great for getting rid of jet lag aches. More

We arrived without a booking, but that wasn't a problem. Our feet were bathed prior to the Thai massage chosen from the extensive menu. The massage exceeded our expectations, and we had had a few throughout Thailand. Wished we had of found it sooner. Lovely ginger tea to finish off. Staff were so polite. Highly recommend and excellent value at... More

This spa has retained the earthiness of 'real' Thailand creating a relaxing refuge where anyone who walks through the door met with gracious Thai warmth and caring. In many ways it feels like a slip back in time to when I first came to Thailand sixteen years ago. The environment was just right and Thai massage here was wonderful. More

My husband loved his oil massage here. And what a bargain 200baht for an hour! It's a nice clean place with a good bathroom. Perfect for a daily jaunt to the massage place. Skip the streetside ones and come here! More
