My husband and I chose the evening class (4:30-8:30) and we were overwhelmed by what we learned and how delicious our meals turned out. Chef Pot was excellent and extremely knowledgeable! There were many menu options you could chose to cook and they even had vegetarian options!! The experience was amazing and the small class size was intimate. I highly... More

I took two different cooking classes while in Chang Mai, but my experience at Siam Rice Cookery was fantastic. Sharon and her husband Pot run a great school. We were picked up at our hotel in the morning, then off to the market for fresh ingredients. Pot explained everything we saw at the market and how and why we would... More

great fun activity. The only thing i wish that is different is that she explained more concepts in thai cooking. The best part of the day was the market tour. More

It was great fun overall. It was really easy to follow, small class of 8people. Also good options for vegi's. I cooked four dishes and they were really tasty and im not a good cook. My only negative would be that I wish I could have made a starter and a dessert as all four dishes were mains. The instructor... More

After consulting Trip Advisor and checking out the top rated cookery schools websites we chose Siam Rice as it had the most choice of dishes. We were a group of 4 visiting Chiang Mai and all wanted to do a course. I had been to. Different school on a previous visit, which was also good but Siam was just ace!... More

Nancy is really friendly and professional. All the dishes clearly and easily explained. Worth every bath. We also loved the previous visit to the market. We recommend it without doubt. More

Booked the whole day to do this and were very lucky with the group we had as we all had a laugh as we were cooking. Nancy was our teacher and she was FANTASTIC. The day started with a visit to a market to look at local produce and then onto the cookery school to chop, stir fry and eat... More

If you can make the time this is well worth a half or full day. The people are great fun and you learn about Thai ingredients and what you can do with them. Sim led our small group and was very entertaining and humorous with an extensive English vocabulary. A brilliant way to spend a day in Thailand and take... More
