Quite a dull environment. Seemed to lack any action. Very scholastic feel in the pretty campus grounds. Easily accessible by bus or MRT.

I visited in Mar 2013 for 1 purpose, see the azalea!
The NTU Azalea Festival is held in Mar. Lots of flowers in the campus, simply amazing!
You need not go far to have nice photo opportunities as they can be found along the road from the main entrance (椰林大道). Easily reached by MRT, just alight at Gongguan station.

My son goes to this university. I often meet him for lunch and a chat. Some 'father and son' time. There are quite a few cafeteria type food stalls on campus selling great, cheap local food. The noodles are my fav. On the north east side is a very nice lake with a coffee shop. Coffee is good, cakes not...

Great beautiful University. The Ivy League of Taiwan. I liked the campus and greenery. The students were friendly and the buildings nice.
Try our famous ice cream made from our own farm and juicy fried chicken steak! Visit the wonderful lake and have a cup of coffee to spend leisure time with loved one!
The main library's English collection is probably the best in Taiwan, if not China. The 国际华语中心 is all one of the best in the world. The campus is scenic, has colonial Japanese architecture, affordable food on campus, and many culinary choices on both the northeast and west side. Many good bookstores and cafes also around 温州街 .
We go to this area in Taipei to eat good foreign food (of ALL kinds). there are small lanes across from the campus that has many good places to eat.
Great place for a morning or afternoon walk or bike ride, and a staple for anyone interested in the city's most prestigious university. Convenient location within Taipei offers amazing shaved ice across the street at Tai Yi Milk King or beef noodle soup at Da Shen Gong. I like getting ice cream sandwiches, made with saltine crackers, at the school...

The #1 university in Taiwan. Japanese colonial style school buildings, a somewhat old but big campus. Nothing else. Gongguan Night Market is right next to the campus though. MRT to Gongguan Station.
First and foremost it is a university and not much of a tourist attraction. You might want to visit this place if you want to immerse in the university culture as the area is practically like a mini town in itself. Most people come here for the concerts or events held at the Sports Stadium (National Taiwan University Sports Center...
