We went here pretty early in the morning and did not know it was closed or that you had to pay to get in...a sign outside could have easily fixed that along with LOCKING the gates also! After seeing all the important spots, the security noticed us and chased us out. Hahaha. Good times!

Very informative tour of the Park - learned a lot of history I had not heard before. Inexpensive t-shirts in the gift shop!

Take in enjoying a walk across the African jungle. The walkway is a great way to do so. Although not up to USA safety standards, it is worth the adventure

One of the days I spent in Accra we wandered around various sites significant to the history of Ghana. I was at first a little annoyed that I had to pay to walk into this park... I'm used to just walking into most any public space without having to pay... but I think this was worth the cost of admission.... More

Kwamy Nkrumah is the First president for Ghana, and this memorial park made for him after he was dead - I took a Taxi from Accra Goldin tulip hotel, to this park and I did pay 20 CDs -Ghana's coins - This park is not big but it has some elements which you can take some photos beside these elements,... Ghana's history is very rich and full of international influences, which is reflected in this very nice memorial park. Certainly a worth a visit.

it felt honored at the mausoleum when i go to see so of the thing that was used by the first President of Ghana. His telephone, 14 books he wrote, his metallic coffin that conveyed his body from Guinea back to Ghana. I really learnt something and one thing i will never forget there is his car.

Lets be honest, there's not much to do or see in Accra. This will kill a half hour. Small but pleasant gardens with a selection of trees planted by visiting dignitaries, a mauseleum, and a poorly laid out museum. Museum consists of black and white photos of Ghanas founding father shaking hands with folks and nothing on his story. There... More

A quiet park in the heart of the city - unexpectedly green park with a dignified burial place of Kwame Nkrumah. Statues and impressive water feature - though not in operation when visited. Certainly worth visiting
