The history of this remarkable man is clearly explained here. One should take the time to learn about him.
Service is slow. Hours appear to be irregular. Disappointing. This place could be so much better if they did a better study of the market.
The story of Dubois is fascinating and the whole center is very interesting to visit, especially the various rooms, library and special displays.
It gives you goose pimples looking at the work of Dubois from early in the century. The place is okay with out a lot of fanfare . Quite basic . The library is okay. no big deal . but worth a look to see .
Rather dingy house with some memoriabilia. Not worth the time unless you are a member of Dubois' fraternity, Alpha Phi Alpha.
If you're in Accra, Ghana you must visit the W.E.B. Dubois Center. The history shared and knowledge gained are priceless.
We learned so much about our African heritage here and that Dubois died in the house where his museum was set up. The guide was very knowledgeable and surprisingly for a Ghanaian didn't believe in God, but I suppose his atheism could have been driven by Dubois, who was also an atheist.
if you are looking for some piece of history about a man who believed in goodness and how best practices for the humanity of Africans and the world at large, look no further.i was awed by the intelligence and humility of such a person.Rich in books, pictures and the environment W Dubois lived in till his death.
very interesting i liked especially that they still have the original house where Du Bois lived..an old colonial building. Food is EXCELLENT there so make it a point to have a snack there
