Cherratin gets passed up in favor of Bou Inania, but this one is better preserved and you can visit the whole thing (hint: some of the bathrooms actually work, although clearly the flush toilets are new!). I say it the best medersa of Fes because it´s possible to look at the inside interiors like the student´s rooms which is not possible at other medersas in Fes. IT gives us the same impressions of European cloisters with their simple, small and non-decorated rooms.
