OK, so Bean Point is heavenly. Little surf. Often much less crowded than other nearby beaches. No facilities keep many daytrippers at bay. But I'm starting to wonder if they should gate street access to the north end of the island. Sadly, we saw two things on one day at Bean Point that ticked us off. The first was a... More

This is my second time at Anna Maria Island. Amazing beaches, crystal clear water, and not too crowded. Views are breathtaking!

I have visited Anna Maria island for the last 15 years and the most fantastic experience is a visit to bean Point. The beauty of the place is it is never busy parking is limited and so peace and quiet are certain. Each year the blue heron is waiting to welcome us on this haven of tranquility. you will see... One of the things we enjoy most about Anna Maria is walking on the beautiful beach. And ending up on Bean Point is a highlight. It is a great place to relax, enjoy the breeze and watch the birds and fish.

A simply stunning tropical beach. Fairly busy, but not rammed. Beautiful white sugar sand, turquoise sea and a good chance to see dolphins. There is a small amount of signposted parking a couple of hundred metres back from the main entrance to the wooden walkway to the beach. Don't risk parking anywhere else on the residential streets. Tidal currents are... More

This is the third year we have returned to AMI. Each time we have walked the full length of the island from Coquina Beach to Bean Point and then around the corner to the Rod and Reel restaurant for breakfast. The walk around Bean Point early in the morning is what I imagine paradise to be. Soft white powder sand... More

We walked through the hard rain to take a look out to see at Beach Point. It was amazing to watch the rip tide and mother nature at it's most treacherous. Gave me an appreciation for listening to any warnings about the sea.

The beach is a dream. White sands, green water, you couldn't ask for anything else. Lots and lots of shells My only advice is: watch the way you park. I got a ticket. 30 bucks It also should have some showers, like other beaches.
