Really nice and relaxing place to go, brilliant views. There is also plenty of restaurants to go yo.

It's true you do get a great view of the river but you don't get a great idea of any of the history from all this new work. We found the citadell way more moving and a great view
Great spot to see great views of Budapest. The area around Fisherman's Bastion has many things to see within a reasonable walk. Mattias Church, Hospital in the wall, The Palace, Funicular cable car.
Fantastic angles on the city of pest .... Clear views and so many levels to the attraction . A real gem worth the visit and the climb !!!
There is a restaurant directly on the Fisherman's Bastion, behind the Mathias Church to the left. It is a "fine dining" restaurant, phantastic view to the Danube and the city, excellent food, and very good gipsy music. I had a very good evening there. http://halaszbastya.eu
