A huge area with trees, gazon, fountains and a small castle. Maybe you will meet some of the adorable squirrels which are coming near you. It worth your attention and you should spend some time for a walk.

We walked the avenue up to a big building which seem to be an art school. Very attractive terrace where you can have snacks, ice-creams and delicious milkshakes. It is very big and we only saw a little part of it.
Extensive parkland with lots of grass and many gravel paths. Spring flowers were everywhere this May. There is a display of about 100 large photographs of Slovenia on the main avenue through the park: the photos really capture the beauty of this picturesque country.
I do not like it so much. There is a big parking space and I do not like it. It would have too be only a park.
The park includes an open air gallery, when we visited it featured many large photos of Slovenia, I enjoyed this. There are more formal areas with the usual families and people chilling, including guys practicing their tightrope walking skills, buskers etc. also less formal/woodland areas with great walks. We went twice. day one we had a sandwich/drink in front of...

I'm sure Tivoli Park is a lovely place, but my impression of it is colored by how hot it was when we visited last summer. I was a little surprised that a *park* didn't seem to have much *shade*. We thought Tivoli would be a nice place to sit and relax for a little bit, but ended up not staying...

Just minutes walk west from the busy streets, you duck under the ring road and railroad and end up in a sylvan garden. Although it has formal gardens, it is largely wooded and more rustic than I expected. A beautiful, quiet respite.
When we visited in September 2012, we were treated to an outdoor photo exhibit by National Geographic magazine....
