Actually i think Vintgar Gorge is the most important sight in Bled! You can walk from Bled to Vintgar and back in 2,5 - 3 hours. Dont go there by bike, cause then you have to walk the same way back, instead of going around. Tickets is 4 euro/adult.

Went here and saw dippers, yellow wagtails, wildflowers and beautiful scenery. You could even see the fish in the water as it was so clear.
My only criticisms are that they were filming for a Bollywood film on the day we went..which meant the paths were blocked with film crew and equipment and we were also delayed slightly. The bridge...

It's like a little slice of Paradise. We took a bike ride there, the road is nice (scenic) and well marked. The place is absolutely beautiful and incredibly clean. The water is as if taken from a cartoon! Just so clean.
It is great with beautiful views and it is worth seeing for sure :) It's a relaxing walk for everybody!
I recommend to all who come to take an hour or two to walk around and enjoy the beautiful nature, river rapids, water .... ideal for families with children, definitely come again!

Wow. What a view. This was definitely the best thing I did while visiting Bled.
The gorge is just a 15 minute bike ride from "downtown" Bled. But beware...

However we decided to try as there were already several sets of footprints leading the way. We got part way then decided to turn back as the snow was just too thick. Was still a beautiful walk though...

This gorge is really worth to see. Beautiful water with fish, small waterfalls, narrow bridges/waterways.
It depends on the actual date, but in mid-summer the best time to visit it is around 1pm, as then the sun shines in and you can see several rainbows above the waterfalls. And it is a good time to cool down from summer hotness....

We did; however beware of treacherous conditions - snowfalls on the path and melting icicles both present a risk. We deliberately took an alternative approach back to avoid the gorge, to reduce the chance of an accident. Although I'd still say it's worth it if...
