Nice exposition, but much too small to justify the entrance fee of 50 CZK (2 euro, but average fee for Czech museums). However, the ticket also allows you entrance to the Archdiocese Museum at the same day, that has much more to offer.

The permanent collection is small but worth the time. We enjoyed seeing local artist work and could tell the enfluence on the art from modern trends in paris and munich. The contemporary exhibit was nice but as that changes go for the permanent collection and the rest is gravy.
The Olomouc Museum of Modern Art is the pale grey art-nouveau building across from the baroque Lady Mary of the Snows church. The permanent collection may not be as outstanding as you might expect for such an important cultural centre, but the temporary exhibitions are often of a very high standard and well worth the low entrance fee.
