We stumbled in with low expectations but what a pleasant surprise. The enthusiasm of the staff is contagious and I was engrossed by the animals we saw. You could spend a good hour in the entrance room/shop with the charming white cockatoo! For $5 extra we were guided through their glow worm cave which is well worth it.

Went to see the owls, but there was a lot of other neat things to see. The kids enjoyed it and the time flew. Glow worms were amazing

What a great place to visit. I went with my grand daughter (9). Everyone was so welcoming and informative. We loved the glow worms the best! I've always gone past before now.

Very freindly and knowledgeable staff. The guide around the great glow worm caves was incredible and ross knew so much about these ting creatures, very interesting. Farm tour and the visit to the owl house was also amazing.

Good fun, helpful friendly staff and a beautiful safe place for youngsters to roam and explore. We also learned alot about the various santuary animals and of course owls.

We drove a long way from masterton to owlcatraz and got there for the last tour which they kindly added us in to even though it was full. We did the glow worm tour with the amazing Ross whose sense of humour and knowledge and enthusiasm for the glow worms became infectious. He put everyone at ease in the dark... More

We almost didn't visit Owl Catraz as from the road it didn't look too promising...we couldn't of been further from the truth. Janette, Ross and Don are fabulous hosts and so informative about everything going on around the park. The owls are kept in a incredible home, designed to be as close to nature as possible, which made it even... More

This is our number one attraction now. We took the family, wife, 5 kids and me and we all loved it. The kids didn't moan about anything. They all had something they enjoyed about it. We loved the enthusiasm of the guides. Very very insiteful about owls and glow worms. The glow worm caves were AMAZING and the owls were... More
