I received helpful guidance from a local on good things to do between Albany and Pemberton. He took the time to explain the best route and was very pleasant.

We have used the Albany Tourist Centre a number of times via the web and phone but this time we were in Albany doing some family heritage research. Went to the centre and they were just so helpful with suggested accommodation. They recommended My Colonial Home and it turned out to be a great place to stay. Thank you.

They had plenty of choice and the staff were keen to help. We didn't want a tour as we have a car so the brochures were enough.

We popped in just to check that we were on the right path for The Gap and Natural Bridge, happy, helpful staff a credit to Albany.

The ladies that work here are a bundle of knowledge on the local area, events, and places to visit and are very happy to share with you. Also has a variety of souveniers and knick knacks for sale at reasonable prices

Didn't find the guy there to be very knowledgable and the ladies behind the desk were too busy even to acknowledge you. I guess it was Easter but still compared to other visitor centres, not that helpful.

Picked up a leaflet called "The Amity Trail" and thereafter spent an hour or so walking around Albany. Along the way found out a lot on information how the first settlers arrived and why they stayed here. Lovely beach at Ellen Cove. Slightly disappointed in view from ANZAC Memorial on Mt Clarence, felt the grwoth on some of the bushes... More

We've always booked our holidays in Albany here and find the staff really helpful. They're great for picking up information on the whole area. Well worth taking the time to visit.
