Didn't really want to go to this, but was persuaded to by my sister, and so pleased that I was. I didn't know there was so many different sheep, or wool come to that. It was, all in all, a very informative and entertaining afternoon.

We stayed at the B&B of Gwenda en Pete, who also does the sheepshearing show twice a day. We had a lovely room and breakfast and really enjoyed our three-day stay with them!

Being in Kaikoura at a time when it wasn't crazy busy made this experience extra special. Got great video of us feedling the lambs - one was just 2 weeks old. Adorable! Fascinating to learn about the shearing of sheep and received a complimentary souvenir. Great value!

This was one of the true highlights of our visit to Kaikoura. Pete the owner was just great and all of the animals were charming and beautiful. Great time - the most gorgeous views in creation. Go to the Marine Museum close-by. Small and cute.

Great for kids and adults. We got to pet and feed lamb, ram, ewes and a dog. Saw the shearing and got a very nice and informative lecture as well as complimentary gift. Great value for money. Rather do this than go whale watching.

We loved how the host got you involved holding a lamb, feeding the sheep and sitting by the sheep dog, if you wanted to. He was excellent in covering information about different type of sheep and their products, along with the shearing.
