What can one say, I love beer and I drink the BOAGS Draught as my preferred brew. I was able to see how it was made The guided tour was excellent, and a must do if you go to Launceston. The guides; Jen & Dan, were excellent hosts and explained and answered all the questions asked. It was very informative.... More

For a non-beer drinker, I still found this tour quite enjoyable. The historical building and stories combined with the new technology was very interesting. The beer "tasting" at the end would've been too much for me if I was driving! Three full pots plus the correctly accompanying cheese was a nice way to finish off the tour. Leave a little... More

Do the tour - it's great. Very interesting lesson in the history of Launceston as a whole and the brewing industry in particular. Love how proud Boags is of their product and that they won't let any other brewery make their beer. Knowledgeable and fun guys running the tour - loved the tassie cheeses with the beer tasting at the... More

I booked this tour for my partners 40th, thinking I wouldn't really enjoy it, but our guide was fabulous, he knew Tasmania and Boags well. He explained how the machines worked, talked about the ingredients and then we drank boags and had cheese to go with each flavour of beer. Highly recommended for the beer lovers out there.

I thought the entry fee of $30 was a little dear and I only went for hubby. I am not a beer drinker, and whilst I found it somewhat interesting, I should have let him go on his own. Having said that, our tour guide was very knowledgeable about the brewery and had a lot of information that was interesting... More

Did the Beer and cheese sampler after a tour of the Brewery, pretty good really, only for Beer fans, and the kids would be bored senseless, but if your in Launceston, worth a look

Had a great tour. We were shown around by a Canadian guy who I think knew more about the brewery and the area then most native Tasmanians and he really made the tour enjoyable. The beer and cheese matchings were genius. My only complaint is that I can't get xxx ale or Wizard Smith ale in Melbourne.

What a wonderful tour...our guide was fun and informative. The history was interesting and the actual brewing process was amazing. Highly enjoyable...and I don't even drink beer!

the beer tour was very informative and very interesting, I liked the fact they were generous with the beer cheese and biscuits after the tour.
