A fabulous trip with cool autumn weather and stunning scenery. The fiord was so utterly calm in the morning the reflections formed perfect mirror images and even the Captain was out with his camera recording the beauty. The crew were all hardworking and full of enthusiasm, the food was amazing, far better than I had anticipated - I had a... More

In good weather this must be truly a fantastic cruise (we went on the day cruise), but with the Sound experiencing rain on 2 days in every three, it will always be a bit of a gamble. On the day we visited there was a lot of low cloud and drizzle, though occasionally we caught glimpses of the mountains rising... More

From 1 st step onto Lake Manapouri boat trip (Real Journeys), bus across the Wilmot Pass, fiord cruise on catamaran and tour of the underground power station this is all a memorable day. Pouring rain meant the best views of 100's of waterfalls through the days journey. Worth every $. More

After reading the excellent reviews of an overnight cruise with Fiordland Expeditions we were excited to board the Tutuko II with Richard Abernathy. I am disappointed to report that Richard and the staff seemed tired and jaded. We got the strong sense that they really didn't want to be there and they were just going through the motions of taking... More

The cruise was outstanding and the crew were superb. A really great trip. Take minimum luggage but include wind/waterproofs. Overnight car parking is safe to leave the balance of your luggage. Take plenty of sand-fly spray! More

Great experience. Liked the spiritual silent moment. Ships were brand new. Enjoyed the informative speaker throughout the excursion. More

The cruise was slightly too long. It would be nice if more marine animals could be sighted. More

One of my favourite places in the world. What is there not to like. BUT - to really appreciate it you have to stay overnight. A day trip isn't the same. Take time to kayak, swim, fish and enjoy. More
