Everything about Wither Hills is outstanding. The wines, the staff, the restaurant, the building and site design and the view. If you are in the Marlborough region and have time for only one winery, this is it. Tasting of rare and new wine styles only available at cellar door is $10 person, tasting of commercially available wines is $5. Check... More

Beautiful setting, and we visited on a beautiful day. Elaine was very friendly and informative on wine-making, so than you. Had coffee sat on bean bags out on the grass (under a large umbrella as well). You can obviously eat here. Nice Sunday afternoon.

Wither Hills winery is definitely worth a visit while in Blenheim. The venue is beautiful and the staff very professional, to say nothing of the wine being excellent. We enjoyed our tastings and the visit to the wine cellar to see the French oak barrels. Unfortunately, we were not there at meal time and did not get to eat in... More

We had an amazing lunch here on a beautiful day. The food was great and the ability to be outside enjoying the sun was also amazing. While we didn't indulge in the bean bag chairs under the umbrella, it looked like a lot of fun for a large group.

Beautiful vineyard. Sauvignon blanc is delicious, though the staff in the tasting room were not as friendly as elsewhere. Had lunch here two days in a row, absolutely delicious!!!! Had the lamb croquettes, which were amazing and my husband had some lovely pasta. We started with a lovely bread selection.

What impressed us most was the lines of vines planted at the entrance showing the huge number of varietals available that are grown in New Zealand. There were quite a few that I hadn't heard of, so it was really good to see them and read a brief description of each. The building itself was very impressive. And most importantly,... More

Very tastefully prepared meal with some good wine matches. Lovely location with a beautiful view, would make a lovely wedding venue.

We stopped by for a wine tasting and chose the $10 (per head) premium tasting of wines you can't usually buy at the regular outlets. The wine was nice, the staff were very helpful but fairly businesslike - not quite so intimate an experience as other wine tastings we've been to. On the other hand the building and the views... Whan to know where great wine comes from, then visit here at Wither Hills. If you're in the area then its en route and worth a few minutes to pull over and see it.
