Great visit, interesting and interactive, recommend the high tea at the Mint cafe.
This was a very inexpensive attraction and the information from the guide about the history of the mint was worth every cent of the entry fee. Seeing the brutal conditions early prospectors went through was very interesting; but the best part were the tour guides, who also show you how to pour gold to make a bar. Fascinating.
