Its a small gallery. I didn't really like it but I also just went to the free expositions, maybe the ones that you have to pay were better. Still a good visit for a few hours.

Lovely light airy art gallery. So impressed by the exhibition of work by year 12 students from WA. Hugely imaginative and thoughtful as well as being technically very proficient. Wouldn't be surprised if some of those young artists don't become internationally known in 15 years time!

My first time at Artbar to see Tex Perkins. Quality wine, dinner if you need it and entry to the latest exhibiton. A great night out for grownups!

Asking various Perth people where the art gallery was tended to get us a range of vague responses generally along the lines of 'it's not in the city', it's out north somewhere. Having a guide to chat to us about the paintings enhanced the visit enormously. I loved looking at the wide variety of styles.

Easy to park and very close to the railway station. We just wanted to see all the Australian paintings and there were plenty of them.

Went to see the exhibition of New York photos and enjoyed it very much. The building itself is worth seeing and has a lovely relaxed ambience inside. We enjoyed viewing the other art displayed too.

The Art Gallery of Western Australia should not be missed: it's centrally located, very close to the train station, it's beautiful and free. a good place to get acquainted with Aussie art.

A pleasant surprise. The staff were well informed, polite and very welcoming. We were there over Easter so it was very busy but the atmosphere was calm and the experience positive. The quality of the food in the restaurant was outstanding especailly given the pressure of numbers on the day, Well worth the price.
