We thoroughly enjoyed our two days in the Grampians. We drove in on the Northern Grampians Road, C222, and were treated to sights of kangaroos in the fields, a couple of koalas and a few emu. The climb into the mountains was very picturesque and we noted the visitor sites - MacKenzie Falls, Reed's Lookout, etc. on our way through... More

We just spent a day in the Grampians - very scenic National Park with something for everyone. Great bird-life, long and short hikes, waterfalls, mountains, aboriginal art and culture, historic towns on the route in and out, kangaroos in the woods and emus wandering on the boundaries. And no entry charges. Worth planning more than a day here.

What a beautiful part of Victoria. We went to the information centre in Hall's Gap and they recommended this trip as we did not have a lot of time in the area. The views were wonderful and the MacKenzie waterfall is not to be missed. It could be a difficult walk for anyone with disabilities, but it has been graded... More

I've heard about the Grampians for a long time but when I finally made it myself, I was very happy and stunned by the landscapes, vastness and wildlife. We unfortunately arrived those big bushfires that meant that almost all the park was closed but we managed to have nice hkes to the balconies, the pinnacles, the MacKenzie falls and some... More

We looked for a campsite outside town, but returned to the village and enjoyed the many kangaroo's visiting the area in the afternoon. You nearly could shake hands. A nice area to make various trips and hopefully we will visit this again in 2013 Wim and Corrie age 69 from Holland

We did Wonderland walk, it was rated medium, quite challenging rocky mountain climbing. But the scenery and views are spectacular on the way and once you reach the top. There are many walks in The Grampians Range, from easy to hard. I've been there 3 times, it is one of my favorite national parks.

We recently stayed for 3 nights at Halls Gap, gateway to the Grampians. It was a perfect time to visit with lovely weather, abundant ,beautiful wild flowers and plenty of birds, kangaroos and deer. Walking there was amazing although some of the "walks" are quite challenging and more akin to scrambling over rocks. Trails are well-marked with fabulous views over... More

Went to Grampians for the weekend. Great place to visit. The waterfalls were abundant with water and very beautiful. The rock formations of the Balconies, Pinnacle and the grand canyon loop were quite interesting.

Went to the Grampians for a 3 night stay with two other male adults and 8 kids under 13. The kids had a ball with not a Playstation 3 or Ipad to be seen. There are plenty of great campgrounds there. We like to rough it , we carry in all we need. Best avdenture was waking up at 4.30am... More
