Just like fairyland...so many flowers and trees and fountains. Also, dont miss the parrots that fly freely from tree to tree. And they seem to stay right in the park

Excellent gardens in harbourside location; the tropical glasshouse is an often overlooked attraction. The best place in Sydney for a leisurely stroll but avoid lunchtimes when hundreds of under- worked public servants descend to run through the gardens and annoy the patrons.
Had a lovely time hear, really beautiful, clean, nice to sit and relax and completely free! Can't ask for more.

Great gardens, perfectly located, enjoyed all of the palms, florals, and sculptured gardens. Easy to access from several major roadways. Within easy walk of harbour.

Encounter many exotic trees, have your lunch on the grass, feed the lovely birds, have a nice view of the towers next to...

A most beautiful walk, stunning scenery, the harbour at its best and the grass is enought to make you want to lay on it.
The Royal Botanic Gardens are lovely. You could easily spend all day wandering around and is perfect for a picnic or afternoon nap. They even have signs posted inviting you to take off your shoes, walk in the grass, etc.
The RBG is a beautiful park/garden in the center of many tourist attractions which makes it a nice "escape" in the city. It is easy to access and right near the Opera House. It is a great place to people watch, wander, or maybe even have a picnic. I found the signs indicating the layout of various parts of the...
