I've lived in Sydney for most of my life and this is one activity I recommend to most international visitors. Maybe only do the Bondi to Bronte segment, but a great way to see Sydney's coastline.

A cliff top coastal walk, the Bondi to Coogee walk extends for six km in Sydney’s eastern suburbs. The walk features stunning views, beaches, parks, cliffs, bays and rock pools. The beaches and parks offer a place to rest, swim or a chance to eat at one of the cafes, hotels, restaurants or takeaways. All beaches offer picnic shelters, electric barbecues, play areas, kiosks, toilets and change-rooms. The walk is not difficult, there are medium gradient paths and several staircases with occasional seating. It takes about two hours to complete the Bondi to Coogee Beach section of the walk and another hour and a half if you choose to continue to Maroubra.The Bondi to Tamarama walk is the venue for the Sculpture by the Sea , Thursday 18 October – Sunday 4 November 2012 .Tamarama Beach and Mackenzie’s Point is a favorite with surfers and Bronte Beach is popular with families. A board walk takes you past Waverley Cemetery, the most scenic burial ground in the world. Swim snorkel or dive at Clovelly Beach and Gordon’s Bay. Enjoy the cafes and Wylie’s Bath at Coogee. If you like you can continue to Maroubra Beach via the Lurline Bay wetlands. Make sure you wear comfy shoes, bring a hat, sunglasses, sun screen and water.

This is amazing. It starts at Bondi Beach and links the small neighbouring beaches-Tamarama, Bronte and Coogee. It is dramatic and beautiful and the waves crash on the rocks below. Wear comfortable shoes-it is a bit hilly and there are steps.

This is a great way to see some beautiful beaches in Sydney, its not a short walk- takes around 1-2 hours- depending on how fast you walk but is definitely worth it!

This is a great walk passing a few beaches on the way. There are also places to stop and get something to eat. A few stairs are involved but if you just take your time this is a very rewarding walk.

It was so beautiful! The air is cold and fresh. People are all gorgeous and they all have nice body to show in the beach! Children can surf. A seagull follows me everywhere. It was lovely to get out of the town and enjoy this lovely coastal walk. We went back to Bondi and had a pleasant evening there. Don't try and get a bus from half way along the route as there are none returning to Bondi.

Interesting and scenic coastal walk with lovely views of different beaches along the way. On the way, worth stopping at a historical cemetery with a view to die for (ha, ha)! Exhilarating walk to Coogee beach.

You can hop on and off the Explorer Bus for a full day of sightseeing. One bus takes you to Bondi Beach and it is worth the trip. May is their fall so it was a little chilly but there were a few surfers out. We strolled around the Bronte cliffs for some wonderful views.

Fantastic scenic walk for 6 kilometres. Really good for taking photographs. It is incredibly beautiful! Plenty of benches and nice places for resting too. Only bad thing is that there is not enough signs and every now and then you get quite confused about where you have to go. But thats Australia for you- they are eager to put up...
