I have visited the Agrodome in the past to view their sheep show. This time I did the farm tour which I found to be a wonderful addition. We were able to feed cows, sheep, Llamas and alpacas. We also visited the organic orchid where they have an event called "under the vines" of the kiwi fruit. I would encourage... More

The sheep show was very entertaining and get to see all different breeds of sheep (not just your normall NZ sheep, very educatioanl for kids) Then we went for farm tour and get to hand feed all the animals... Great fun! especially for Kids!! This was the best for Rotorua trip for my 5 years old.

When we were in Rotorua a month ago my wife really wanted to go to the Agrodome and see the sheep show. I thought the idea of it sounded ridiculous but I figured why not? Where else am I going to be able to go to a sheep show? Well, the Agrodome far EXCEEDED my expectations. It was kind of... More

I dragged my unwilling partner along to the sheep show and we both ended up loving it. The host is hilarious and made the show. Basically this is a comedy show with an informative twist on the sheep and farming industry. It was definitely worth the money. The maze is also worth while doing for the extra $5, lots of... More

I love animals of any kind so was super keen to visit Agordome. My partner grew up on a sheep farm, so it took a little of convincing on my part….but wow, was it worth the effort! Even he walked away raving about it! We saw the show and then went on the farm tour. The stage show was very... More

We've been a few times and love it. Great service, lovely people, good fun. Never disappoints the kids. Mind you, we can see that the place is looking tired, needs some maintenance and a little TLC.

Thanks and we welcome back return visitors, in your case multiple times. I totally agree with the refurbishment internally this has already started. We built the new reception into the Auditorium (opened Sept 6th our 41st anniversary) and we are really excited about the final look internally. We also will be adding some new products onsite as well as components... More

Was rather reluctant to watch a sheep show but did it for the sake of family peace... And was I glad we did go, think the 43 year old father enjoyed this the most. We attended the 9.30 show with a mix of other nationalities, the host was superb - even managed a Korean joke or two. Finding out about... More

Thanks for your review, I'm disappointed in the review of the Farmhouse Café of which is not run by the Agrodome but leased...I can assure you your response has been sent to their management for independent action. Any way when your next down please drop me a note first, grant@agrodome.co.nz I'd like to sweeten your Farm Tour offer...kindest regards Grant... More

This is a really fun place to visit, especially with young children. The Farm Tour was a highlight of our holiday – with everyone in our group enjoying feeding the alpacas and sheep – and makes for great photos. We were lucky that feijoas (or 'frozens joes' as my son keeps calling them) were in season during our visit (from... More

Just love your trip advisor pseudonym...and of course your review, I am also proud to read the reception team spotted your kids might have been a little chilly on the top plateau and issued blankets (nice to be snuggly on the farm tours). The Feijoa's aka 'Frozen Joes' are dropping and I encourage everyone to try these (pop a few... More
