Located just 10 kms north of the Rotorua CBD, the Agrodome is home to the multi award winning Sheep Show . This famous Rotorua attraction features live sheep shearing, 19 breeds of champion rams, cow milking, lamb feeding, dog demonstrations as well as a full New Zealand dog trial. There are three exciting shows a day at 9.30am, 11.00am and 2.30pm. Each Sheep Show is an hour duration.Also join the Organic Farm Tour for a hands-on experience with a variety of farm animals including Cattle, Deer, Alpaca, Bison, Ostrich, Sheep and much more. You will also visit the Organic Orchard for honey and kiwifruit juice tasting. The Farm Tours depart daily at 10.40am, 12.10pm, 1.30pm and 3.40pm.Complete your Agrodome experience with a visit to the Woollen Mill and Shearing Shed to see the full process of wool from the Sheep’s back to yours. I have visited the Agrodome in the past to view their sheep show. This time I did the farm tour which I found to be a wonderful addition. We were able to feed cows, sheep, Llamas and alpacas. “Great!!!!”

The sheep show was very entertaining and get to see all different breeds of sheep (not just your normall NZ sheep, very educatioanl for kids) Then we went for farm tour and get to hand feed all the animals... Great fun! especially for Kids!! This was the best for Rotorua trip for my 5 years old.

“Comedy Show with Sheep!”

Agrodome is only a short drive from central Rotorua and well worth your time the inside sheep show is entertaining and a must see for anyone coming to Rotorua. We've been a few times and love it. Great service, lovely people, good fun. Never disappoints the kids. Mind you, we can see that the place is looking tired, needs some maintenance and a little TLC.

Thanks and we welcome back return visitors, in your case multiple times. I totally agree with the refurbishment internally this has already started. We built the new reception into the Auditorium (opened Sept 6th our 41st anniversary) and we are really excited about the final look internally. Was rather reluctant to watch a sheep show but did it for the sake of family peace... And was I glad we did go, think the 43 year old father enjoyed this the most.
