We went to many tapas bars in Jerez. This one is the for sherries, wines, price/value and great food. Owners and staff very welcoming. It's a place you should visit; great location too.

We've been in Jerez for a while and are staying just a couple of minutes walking time from Tabanco Plateros so we find ourselves stopping by for a sherry or a beer and a plate of tapas quite often. It's a busy place with mostly locals (which is always a good sign). The servers go non-stop and keep everything in... More

My wife and I spent 10 days in Jerez de la Frontera and during that time we did not find freindlier service, better tapas and wine for the price. Would not hesitate to return.

Fantastic find while on a visit to Jerez staying at the converted convent in the town square. Visited in the afternoon during siesta time everywhere closed but this place was busy with locals enjoying the friendly atmosphere sampled a choice of sherries, at 1 Euro a glass, had to have a sleep and returned in the evening for sherry wine... Very good tapas. Try the Amontillado wine: half bottle only 4 euro. Optimum price/quality ratio. All tapas 2 euro is a bargain.

We were lucky enough to have stayed very near Tabanco Plateros over MotoGP weekend recently, and felt we must comment on this very fine establishment! The atmosphere, a small, intimate interior bar section, with outdoor patio that flows onto the plaza, was hard to beat. The popularity of this place told us it was something to see. Quality tapas with... More
