I visited maddens with a group of friends over in bundoran for new years and we dropped in here to grab some food and a few beers. There was two guys behind the bar which looked loke the managers or owners. The first guy took our order. He never said a word and looked like he didnt care that we... More

Maddens has a great reputation for breakfasts so instead of staying in a hotel in Bundoran, I opted to stay here and wished I hadn't! The rooms were old and musty and were freezing! I had to wake up in the middle of the night to get an extra blanket. You have to go into the bar when checking in... More

I left looking for somewhere to stay in Bundoran until the last minute but found this place online and emailed them from their website. I got a reply pretty much straight away saying that it would be fine, I emailed to see if I could get a seaview room and if breakfast was included and it was yes to both... More

Having eaten here on several occasions in the past few years we decided to pop in for lunch over the bank holiday weekend. The attitude emulating from who I assume to be the 2 owners was absolutely unbelievable. I am an advocate of good customer service and in current times this is what sets one business out from another! We... More

My friend and i stayed at Maddens last year for 3 nights at Paddys day and I have to say we weren't dissapointed. The food was fantastic and plenty of it, we found the staff extremely helpful and pleasant. Our room overlooked the sea and had wonderful views....(in fact we took a walk along the beach each morning to blow... More

Having stayed at the Bridge in the past (and enjoyed it) I was surprised and disappointed at both the condition of the rooms (very primitive, heating not working) and the attitude of the staff. The food is over priced (17 euro for a breakfast) and the customers seem to be treated as an inconveniance rather than as guests. It is... More

The Bridge Bar is located in a rustic building in the center of Bonduran, Ireland. Upon entering, my husband and I were warmly greeted by the owner's son, Declan. Declan was extremely friendly, accommodating, and he served the most delicious food we had in all of Ireland. The pub was dark-lit with candles. As you walked through, it unraveled to... More

The bar is a real traditional Irish pub, staff are warm and friendly. The menu is extensive and the wine list is really good. The owner was there the day I visited and he asked us to call in that night to see the live entertainment. He made us feel really welcome. We came to Bundoran for surfing which was... More

The full Irish breakfast is awesome. Definitely a good stop when you have a hangover !The portion sizes of the main course were huge. I got soup and roast beef (comfort food at its best!) which came with perfect veg and creamy potatoes . DELICIOUS. Not at all fatty like most other pseduo-Irish joints and the cabbage was cooked to... More
