We spent two nights in Dingle during our March 2011 trip. There was music both nights at the An Droichead Beag [the Small Bridge Bar] but the first night we couldn't get a seat where we could see the musicians and there were some loud people from our own state [Wisconsin] who may have had too much to drink. However,... More

I found the Droichead unfriendly and cold. Maybe just too old.. Drinks were more expensive here than in other pubs in Dingle. Wont be back. More

The night began with soothing sounds of the harp in aice le tine. The relaxing atmosphere didn't last long as each song was interrupted by the invasion of every stag and hen party in the country who made there way to the back of the pub where the sounds of rihanna provided an unwelcome undertone to the fiddle and flute... We were treated with such disrespect in this place that all we could talk about was how much we wanted to write a bad review. Sound petty? No doubt. True? Certainly. This place is a joke. When I had a drink stolen from me, I was told from the manager that they would "watch the cctv the next day" and... More

I went to An Droichead Beag with my Irish family and we had some American family who were visiting Ireland for the first time. We went there on a Saturday night to hear some Traditional Irish music beacause it was recommeded by a waiter in a local restaurant that added "it gets a bit rough there later in the night".... More

This was our first pub where we had out first Guinness and it was heavenly. We were a bit worried about it but once we got in, the locals chatted with us and it was very relaxing. Something about that accent. More
