Home Of Peig Sayers was the main reason for taking the very short boat ride to the Island. Views to the mainland are WOW!!!!!! Also watch out for all the Native Grey Seals on the Beach

The Great Blasket island is amazing and a must see. Pack a lunch and plan on a full day over there! You will want to explore the island but also find a great place to sit and enjoy the beauty! Wear shoes for hiking! This is not a place you want to walk around in flip flops or other slip...

We did NOT go to the Island but the visitor center is fascinating and should be one stop a person makes on the Dingle Peninsula. The Irish Heritage Card (a VERY worthwhile investment!) gets you in free. The demonstrations and exhibits are fascinating and worth the side trip.
