great experience. your brought straight to the dolphin as he swims and jumps along beside you. the skipper on boat was brilliant. knows exactly where to find him and knows when to wait for the dolphin to come back to follow alongside boat again. both the lady in the office and skipper extremely friendly and helpful. would highly recommend. We made the long trip down form sligo for the weekend to dingle, myself and my wife. We had heard a little about fungie and we were dying to see him. So we arranged a trip at the main office beside the pier where the girls are so friendly (bridget i think her name was). So we managed to get... More

Myself and my fiancée went with my sister and brother in law to see fungie. When we got there the last tour was just gone but straight away the lady rang he son and got a private tour for us. This was so spectacular that I really recommend to go and see this Irish pride in dingle town. It was... More

We loved going to see Fungie. You do get to see him up close. It was moving to see some disabled children on the next boat having the time of their lives as he swam right up to them. The boat trip round the bay is worth doing in itself. More

Well, I was a bit skeptical - everyone kept teasing that we were going to see a mechanical dolphin etc etc. Having a boat ourselves, and seeing dolphins ALL THE TIME, I wasnt expecting much to excite me, but my friend the animal lover was keen to see this Dingle attraction. Boy, was I glad I did!! It was a... More

The boat trip was great and seeing Fungie made the 1-1/2 hour trip worthwhile. The nice thing about the boat ride was, if we did not see Fungie, we did not have to pay for the ride. We could almost reach out and touch the dolphin. More

We could see the Dolphin from Pax House - he has been living in the Dingle area for over 20 years. Fun to watch! More

Fungi first made himself known to local fishermen in 1983 and he was a full grown adult bottlenose then, so he must be very old in dolphin years now. Nevertheless, he skipped and frolicked beside us, racing the boat, sitting up and flirting with us and smiling the characteristic dolphin smile before disappearing and making surprise reappearances a couple of... Though I love both dolphins and boat rides, I must admit I was a little wary of visiting Fungie the Dolphin at first. It sounded a little bit like a cheesy tourist trap to me. However, I am happy to report, I was so wrong! Unlike some boat excursions promising you will see an animal, only to get a quick... More
