Decided to pay this place a visit as my kids are always up for trying new things. Having enjoyed water skiing myself I decided to try this place out. Family and I enjoyed a half day sailing trip with one of their instructors. What a beautiful way to experience Kenmare and Ireland. Great staff, Patrick our instructor was great! Had tons of kids programs. Would recommend to anyone. What a great time!! More

We attended the paella and salsa night in Kenmare star outdoors on a mon night in july. We had the most fantastic morning at Star Sailing, we had a fairly large group of over 70 adults that visited Kenmare. its great craic they do just about every type of watersport their is waterskiing, sailing, canoeing and kayaking just to name a few plus they do archery and other things on land as well. definetly worth a visit. More

Star Outdoors is an activity centre in Kenmare Bay. They have a mixture of activities on offer. They have an all day option for the kids that includes a whole range of water and non-water based activities. We went to Star twice while in Kenmare this August. It is an excellent activity for families with teenagers or younger children. We rented some 1 and 2 person sit-on and sit-in kayaks complete with all of the necessary equipment for €40. It was well worth it.
