We went to the centre thermal in order to relax and enjoy the afternoon. However, we found this place to be very old, dirty, ugly and overall disgusting. After 2 hours we were happy to leave again, although we could have stayed 2 more hours. There's no way you want to stay there for longer though.
When I visited, on a weekend, the pools were all very crowded. The indoors was very loud, despite the "keep silence" signs. For a first-time visitor, it is very difficult to find one's way: to the pool entrance, to the exit, to the sauna and hammam which are on an upper floor e.g. There are signs, but ... too many...

Enjoyed this as a "Rail Away" daytrip and enjoyed it. Quite nice in the summer so that I could go out in the outdoor pools. Not obvious by public transport.
Staff very helpful and friendly, constantly cleaning, but starting to look a bit dated now, though still throughly enjoyable. Indian Head Massage great.

Some fellow backpackers and I had a lovely day out at the Central Thermal Springs. It was lovely and relaxing - particularly the Japanese hot bath! Treatments cost extra but there was enough there not to bother. Just be aware of how nude people may be in the sauna (!)
I would recommend, it was lovely and reasonably priced for...

Just go to Lavey-les-Bains, thaousands time better. The place is old, the pools are uninterestant, the "espace détente" is really too small. Just one sauna, one hammam, a mini japanese bath. The place is too small for its ambitions. Too crowded. They charge 10 swiss franks for the rental of a towel (about 8 euros), that's the price of the...

thermal place with 4 or 5 star hotel / restaurant close by. the thermal place is clean, yet rather small (two outside pools, one inside which is quickly crowded). not easy to find, limited parking good starting point to see other local attractions (such as CIMA music box museum in Ste Croix).
