A really interesting museum about local archeological finds from the sea. Towards the end of the exhibition there are some amazing Bronze statues- one of Alexander the Great and one of Cleopatra's child which is gorgeous. Some amazing artifacts and an excellent (although a little verbose) audio commentary. Small entrance fee well worth it.

This museum is bright and stimulating, the wealth of history of the ancient town of Agde rescued for me local waters is breathtaking in variety and information. Ancient Greek and Roman artifacts, bring over 2000 years of history to life. A top quality museum in a beautiful setting

Cap D'Agde is a new town so you would not expect to find a museum bursting with Roman and Greek artifacts. BUT - for the last 40 years a group of local divers have been searching the coast line and the Herault River. In the sand they have found some stunning pieces.
