The beach here is just breathtaking on a sunny day to showcase the sea and cliff views. We went in off season and were able to enjoy the sun without the crowds and it was not too hot.

Too many hawkers selling rubbish and women selling massage - like flies and cockraoches. Not their fault but they and their sponsors are going to kill the goose that laid the golden egg if people don't control their numbers and aggression.
Beautiful beach, not too crowded. Lovely to take a book and get a tan. The water is very warm and the waves are more like a slow swell. Located in a beautiful city, filled with best affordable Italian restaurants

If you are looking for cystal clear water, clean beach and relaxation then definitely visit Tropea beach. There are cafes/bars along the back of the beach which serve very reasonably priced and delicious food. Wonderful place to spend a holiday, I was very sad to have to leave, definitely a beach worth visiting.
Nice water, beach can get a little crowded though in summer. The surroundings are just awe inspiring.
Chrystal clear water, very nice sand - excellent food, attentive swim guard and warm-hearted service at "Lido d'Oasi".
A great place to spend a day, both the town and the beach are lovely. There are some really nice bars in the Piazza Ercole.
Nice sandy beach, located below the town (long stairs going down). The sea water is good for swimming, but there may be waves (no bay)
