If you enjoy good food and love people then this is the holiday for you! Cooking Vacations looked after every detail hand in hand with the professional and efficient hotel staff in Ischia. From the moment my friend and I landed in Naples we were made to feel comfortble with a car waiting to take us to the port....a shuttle... More

I visited stunning Positano with my friend Claire for a week-long stay. We chose Positano for its enviable scenery and location but also because of Cooking Vacations. In my (detailed) research, Cooking Vacations were consistently value for money for this area of Italy. In particular, the day-long courses suited us best instead of 3-day or week-long minimums with other companies.... More

I participated in the "Slow Cooking Positano" program, and it was a great success. Positano is lovely, the hotel was fine (not a luxury hotel, but comfortable, friendly and very well located), and the group enrolled in the program was terrific. The best part was cooking at il Ritrovo, high up the cliff above Positano, with chef Salvatore and his... More

Chef Angelo in Taormina is a superb chef, so personable and knowledgeable - very engaging. His restaurant - Licchio's was both pleasant and delightful. The food prep time and meal that followed far surpassed my wife's expectations; as inexperienced as I am in the kitchen, I felt right at home helping my wife and the other couple create a wonderful... Cooking Vacations trips are the only way to travel! All details of the trip were organized and planned and went off without a hitch. Location was superb, and the hotel/spa Manzi was 5 star heaven on earth. Chef Nino deserves every Michelin star he has earned. Cooking in his kitchen with his staff was like being part of an international... More

The "Music in the Kitchen" Cooking School in Ravello was absolutely fantastic. The arrangements could not have been better and it exceeded all of our expectations. From the transfer from Naples to Ravello, to the lovely hotel, to the fantastic cooking experience, to the visit to a local Mozzarella factory and a local winery - all arrangements were perfect! A... I found the cooking classes first class and with good instruction and a lot of fun. As well the excursions were both very interesting and fun. Our accommodation was fine for a two star hotel. I would not hesitate to recommend this Almalfi coast cooking holiday to anyone and hope to return again. More

This was a dream vacation for me - a writing/cooking workshop with Elizabeth Berg in Positano, Italy. I had never traveled abroad before, with the exception of my daughter's wedding in Jamaica, and I went by myself. Honestly, I was quite nervous about the whole experience. But from the moment I arrived and was escorted to my room, I felt... More

I visited Positano for the Pasta Making Course. All the staff were very welcoming and informative. Philomena was great to work with and the food we produced was awesome! I have told all my friends and family about it since I came home and will definitely use the recipes at home. Hope to visit again soon. More

The cooking and ceramics was fabulous! Each cooking lesson was so much fun, the chefs were terrific, the recipes were delicious, a dream come true in Italy. We didn't have to plan or worry about anything, from the moment we arrived in Positano, to the time we left, every detail was perfectly planned for our vacation. We were greeted with... More
