We loved wandering the streets of Orvieto and finding the hidden streets. It's so pretty on the hill and the area makes for a great place to explore the surrounding countryside.

This is a beautiful ancient city. A slower pace than rome, so it was a nice escape for a few days. There's great food, good wine, and it's so wonderful strolling around the beautiful old alleyways. The Etruscan history is fascinating. I recomment a visit!
What a beautiful town. Situated high on a plateau you can enjoy exploring the cobblestone streets Lined with shops & cafes. The must-see sight is the Duomo. The exterior has beautiful frescoes & sculptures. Not to be missed. Paid parking between 8 & 20 hours.
this is a very nice small town with the Dumo and many nice old buildings and narrow strrets. You feel like you are in the 18th or 17th century. worse a visit- good local food and wine
Orvieto is a gem! Quiet, charming, lots of small hotels, restaurants and shops. You can wander quietly or explore the Duomo (gorgeous both inside and out) or hike the Anello della Rupe.
Walk around the city all day, eat lots of icecream, lunch (go to the park with some local ham, porchetta, cheese and wine), enjoy good a dinner, buy food and wine to bring home. Speak a little italian and you'll get friends. People are friendly!

We loved everything about the city - the winding, cobbled streets, the lovely Duomo, the incredible views, the flowers and the people. We were only able to spend a day here, but it will be high on our list when...

The departing train track is not posted until about 15 minutes before departure and if it is 2 est, it is at least a 10-15 minute walk to the far end to catch the train. Don't delay. Watch for...
