We went to Port Erin from Douglas. great way to see the countryside without the hassle of driving. Be at the staition early as lots of walking groups use this train. Fabulous staff response to enquiries for a disabled passenger. Well done to them.

Love the old carriages and beautiful engines. Disliked the jerking of the coahc we were on. Followed the loclas on the return trip which was much more comfortable! Guess we got the duff coach!

Decided to get off the bike and take the train enjoyed it but a little bit over priced. We only wanted to go as far as Laxey and it cost over £20 for 2 of us.

An amazing journey from Douglas to St. Erin & return later in the day A great way to "turn the clock back" for a nostalgic ride in a traditional carriage A must do ...

A good heritage line; as is often the case, railways do run through cuttings as well as embankments so there is not always a view. Nice cup of tea at the Douglas terminus.

Good fun and makes travel south from Douglas an easy venture. Older folk will enjoy travel like they used to and younger people will enjoy the novelty.

We took a trip from Douglas to Castletown where we walked to the harbour and visited the Nautical Museum before catching the next train back to Douglas Superb ride with lovely scenery, all behind a historic Victorian locomotive

Nice ride with well maintained carriages and stations. Staff were very helpful. Expected more scenic views than we got. Timetable easy to understand. Not too crowded.

A great way to visit Port Erin for seaside walks and a glass of lunch in the Bay Hotel. The museum at Port Erin Station is worth a visit, as is a stop at Castletown on the way back

The train trip to Port Erin is a must, we travelled on the Rail Ale train to a beer festival there. A thoroughly good night.
